The Challenge was given

A good friend and a great Illustrator Marcelo Baez has set a challenge for us to post at least two finished personal illustrations a week to keep us more creative and for a bit of fun.
So Marcelo here is my first one this week, the Challenge is on!
this is my take on Batman just in case you weren't sure who it was. Brush pen inks over a pencil sketch with photoshop colors.

I just wanted to share with you the latest childrens chapter book I have illustrated for Blake Publishing which is now available.

The Book is in the Red Sparklers series and is titled Zara's Solution and is written by Sue Walker.

Superman over Metropolis

1978 an 11year old boys life was changed forever.

That was the first time I saw Christopher Reeve on the big screen and I believed a man could fly. He has stuck with me ever since.

here is my version of Superman I hope you like it.

Peter Pan

this was created for the Children's illustrators club on Deviant Art.

the monthly theme for November was Peter Pan.

I used pencil and paper to sketch then a brush pen to ink followed by digital colors.

I had a Birthday on the weekend and my 12 year old son Talin made me a special birthday card.

I just had to share what a great job he did on the card and how lucky a Dad I am that he would go to so much effort.

I had a great day and received many nice cards and gifts, it was nice to be spoilt for the day.
